ADVANCING VISION 2030, GREENWOOD ENERGY STRENGTHENS ITS REGIONAL PRESENCE WITH NEW OFFICES IN COLOMBIA AND PANAMA

Panama City, Panama | June 5, 2026

Greenwood Energy (GWE) continues to strengthen its regional growth through the expansion of its operational infrastructure across Colombia and Panama, a strategic milestone within VISION 2030, the company’s five-year growth strategy to scale its energy development model and accelerate the deployment of high-impact sustainable energy infrastructure throughout Latin America.

As part of this evolution, GWE is announcing the opening of new offices in Riohacha (La Guajira) and Medellín (Antioquia), the strengthening of its operations in El Copey (Cesar), the expansion of its operational and technical headquarters in Barranquilla (Atlántico), and the renovation of its offices in Panama City. These investments enhance the company’s on-the-ground execution capabilities and support its projected growth over the coming years.

In Colombia, the new Medellín office will strengthen GWE’s technical, engineering, and project management capabilities, enabling closer collaboration with strategic allies and key partners involved in the development of new initiatives. Meanwhile, the opening of the Riohacha office expands the company’s presence in La Guajira, one of Colombia’s most important regions for the energy transition.

These capabilities complement GWE’s presence in El Copey, Cesar, where construction recently began on the first phase of TERRɅ INITIɅTIVE, the project developed in partnership with the Arhuaco People. In addition, the expansion of the Barranquilla office will strengthen operational coordination across Colombia’s Caribbean region and further establish the city as a strategic hub for regional teams.

From these regional bases, GWE teams lead ongoing community engagement efforts, site assessments, and the management of environmental and social considerations, all of which are fundamental to the responsible and sustainable development of projects.

In Panama, the company continues to strengthen its regional platform. GWE recently renovated and expanded its Panama City offices to support the growth of its corporate and commercial operations, creating a more functional, collaborative, and scalable workspace aligned with the needs of a growing organization.

This presence is complemented by GWE’s operations in the district of David, Chiriquí Province, where it operates ɅLMɅ MɅTER, the project developed in partnership with the University of Panama, reaffirming the company’s commitment to initiatives that combine infrastructure, education, and territorial impact.

As part of this evolution, GWE inaugurated its global Network Operations Center (NOC) in Panama City, a state-of-the-art technology platform designed to provide real-time oversight of projects, assets, and energy infrastructure across Latin America. From this center, GWE monitors operational indicators and critical performance metrics through tools tailored to the specific needs of each project, strengthening its regional management and operational response capabilities.

“This expansion represents far more than the growth of our operations. It reflects the consolidation of a model that combines local execution, technological innovation, and a long-term commitment to the territories where we work. We believe that creating sustainable impact requires close engagement with communities, a deep understanding of local realities, and the ability to build solutions that endure over time,” said Juan Pablo Crane, CEO of GWE.

Each new office, project, and team deployed in the field strengthens GWE’s ability to develop sustainable solutions that generate lasting value for communities, strategic partners, and the countries where it operates.

Through VISION 2030, Greenwood Energy continues to scale a model that integrates technology, sustainability, territorial development, and social impact, expanding its ability to contribute to Latin America’s energy transformation and help build the infrastructure future generations will depend on.
